About John Kensinger

My Views

My name is John Kensinger, a registered pharmacist and Republican candidate for the 2012 U.S. Senatorial election in Pennsylvania.  Our country was founded on the principles of preserving individual freedom, and limiting the government’s intervention into our lives.  We must hold onto these founding benefits and repeal H.R. 3962, known as the Health Care Bill.  This bill has a provision for the rationing of our health care by, “reducing benefits, increasing premiums, or establishing waiting lists.” Rationed health care is not what Americans deserve.  We must ensure that our country and its citizens have the economic tools and freedoms necessary to pursue and achieve greatness.  Over the last forty years, government spending has increased seven times more than personal income.  This statistic illustrates the need for our government to spend less instead of taxing us more.  Congress should immediately pass a bill to freeze government spending to the annual rate of inflation.  Our nation needs to take steps to reverse unemployment in the manufacturing segment by adjusting our corporate tax code to expand exports.  Unemployed workers should be retrained so they can re-enter the workforce with an improved or equivalent economic status.  We need to reduce the tax burden on families and businesses so there is money available for economic expansion and job creation.  Our children deserve an education that equips them with skills necessary to compete in today’s high tech economy.  We need to free our neighborhoods from crime while preserving our second amendment, freedom to keep and bear arms.  I believe that a great nation has a fundamental respect for human life.  Therefore, I am against all federal funding of abortion both here and abroad.  Finally, we must honor our promises to those who brought our country to where it is today, our nation’s senior citizens and veterans.
